iRobot Roomba 694"
The iRobot Roomba 694 is a robot vacuum for entry-level use that performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It has good suction however it has trouble with larger debris such as grains of rice or sand. It is capable of cleaning pet hair, but it is not as resistant to tangling as the premium Roomba models like the I6 and j7.
The Roomba 694 is simple to use. It has three buttons on the top cover. 'Clean,' which launches a cleaning session, 'Dock,' which places it in its charging station, and the 'Spot' button, which triggers an individualized cleaning. You can control it using an app for smartphones that lets you to schedule cycles, stop/start them, and alter settings. You can also connect it with smart home devices like Alexa or Google Assistant for voice-controlled operation.
This vacuum is a bit slower than others, but it is still able to get into the most crevices and corners. It has a large dustbin, which is great for reducing the frequency with the frequency you have to empty it. It is compatible with digital mapping and virtual barriers which allow you to set the robot to avoid certain areas or stop cleaning completely to stop it from becoming stuck.
While it's not the best model in its price range but it's far superior to other options. The Roborock E4 is more advanced than the Roomba 694, with better cleaning performance for both bare and low-pile carpets. It also has a longer-lasting battery and a more efficient route. It is also more robust, has fewer components that require regular maintenance, is priced less over its life and charges faster than 694.
You may also want to consider other models in the iRobot range, like the v7 or the 981. The 981 and v7 are more expensive, but they offer significant improvement in cleaning efficiency, both on bare and low pile floors. They also have a bigger dirt compartment they charge faster, can move more easily and are more a breeze to pair with smart home devices.
Shark RV1001AE IQ
This budget self-emptying robot vacuum cleaner does an excellent job on carpets with a low pile and hard flooring. Its combination brush reaches corners and edges, and automatically boosts suction once it spots carpet. It also does a good job of cleaning dirt on carpet in the middle. The IQ has a tiny footprint and also a self-emptying function. If you'd like to change the floor levels or set zones that aren't allowed, you'll have to manually reset the map.
The IQ app provides advanced mapping and automated features, however it lacks no-go zones. They are only available on iRobot robots. Its smart-pathing system permits for better maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is effective but it could get caught on rug tassels.
In our tests during our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair with ease, removing an impressive amount of debris from floors that were not bare and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. It was a little less effective on shag carpet, which was a struggle to reach dirt and dust embedded in the fibers. It did a good job of maneuvering around the legs of chairs and tight spaces as well as the wooden base of an IKEA step stool. We did notice that it was a bit slower on bare floors however it soon recovered speed and performed more thoroughly than the other robots we tried.
The IQ is a better choice than the iRobot Roomba 694 for most applications. It has a bigger dustbin and a longer battery life and is more adept at navigating around obstacles. It has mopping tools that can clean up sticky debris. The iRobot, however, feels better constructed and has less components that require replacement or maintenance and incurs fewer ongoing costs, and can even create virtual no go zones using its companion app. It can continue cleaning from the point it started, even if its battery runs out before it has finished. The iRobot is also controlled by voice, which can be an advantage for many users.
Eufy 11S
The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum around however it offers excellent cleaning power at an affordable price. The RoboVac 11S is designed for consumers with a tight budget who don't require a complicated mapping system, or even an application to control it. This robot will last for more than an hour. It comes with the remote control, cleaning tool and AC power adapter.
The 11S is slim and sleek with a tempered glass upper deck that covers plastic finished to look like brushed aluminum. It's a refreshing departure from the industrial and utilitarian designs of Roomba, Samsung and Neato.
In our tests, the eufy11S was excellent at picking up large particles and fine dust on hard flooring. It was unable to thoroughly clean carpets with high and medium piles. The device also has a tendency to smack into furniture and people that are in its path, but it's able to detect these obstacles using sensors. When it comes across them, it halts and emits a loud beep so you can manually steer it around the obstacle and get it back to work.
Another fantastic feature of the eufy 11S is its BoostIQ mode, which allows you to set the robot to automatically adjust its suction power to match the floor type and the level of the mess. It's also simple to use the remote to direct the 11S to where you'd like it to go.
Single Room Mode is a great option for those with small furniture in the room you'd like to vacuum. The eufy will take 30 minutes intensely cleaning the area it's assigned.
Edge Cleaning is another option that can limit the time spent on each surface to just 20 minutes. This will maximize battery life. This option allows the eufy to move in a spiraling manner by cleaning edges and corners.

Its allergy-friendly design and air-sealed body captures allergens to keep your family healthy. floor vacuum robot comes with an onboard HEPA and self-emptying bin so you don't need any additional filters or a vacuum bag.

Two front cameras provide live images to your smartphone, and it features one of the top obstacles-avoiding systems we've seen. It also has a large dustbin, a long runtime, and a fast and smooth clean-up.
The Complete C1 is unlike most robots in that it can switch between the standard head and turbo for different types of flooring. The turbo head is great for low-pile and high-pile carpeting and the standard powerhead works well on bare floors and lightweight rugs. It also features an automated height adjustment system, that allows it to adapt to different kinds of flooring, without manual adjustments.
This model is bundled with the SBD 285-3 Classic Combination Floorhead, which can be used on both hard floors and carpets of medium pile. The powerhead can also be easily maneuvered and reach difficult spots. It has five different adjustments to the surface and an off-brush switch to avoid hairs from getting tangled.
The Classic C1 has a self cleaning brush roll as well as the UtraClean Mode that can clean the same area three times, and a self-emptying dustbin that can be emptied with a single button press. The noise level of this model is greater than other models. However, its powerful motor with 1,200 watts and sturdy construction make it worth the extra cost.
